One hand from each side of the sea
Two hands meet and form a heart, leaving the middle open so the shirt itself shows through. The left hand carries Japan: white, with the red disc set in the palm and the outline drawn in a single clean black line. The right hand carries China: strong red across the whole hand, with the large yellow star out toward the wrist and the four smaller stars curving after it. Below the hands, in thin white capitals spaced wide across the chest, two words: PERFECT HERITAGE.
Who it’s for
Families that are both, and are tired of being asked to pick. A Japanese Chinese heritage shirt is a rare thing on any rack, because most heritage prints stop at one country and assume the other side of the family will find their own. This one puts them at the same size, on the same chest, touching.
The detail that matters
Neither flag is shrunk to make room for the other, and neither is placed above. The two hands are mirror images, the heart between them is exactly centered, and the only thing in the middle is black cotton. That is the whole argument of the design, and it is made without a single word of explanation.
