France and Philippines, joined by a dotted line
France fills the left side of the print as a solid white silhouette, Corsica included, with a red heart set inland. The Philippine archipelago takes the right side, its islands drawn one by one, a second red heart on Luzon. Between them, a red dashed line runs east across the blank space, dipping and rising like a route on a departures screen. Underneath, in a broad white brush script, France on the left and Philippines on the right, separated by two interlocking red heart outlines.
Who it’s for
Franco Filipino households, and there are more of them every year, plus the American branch of those families who ended up with cousins in Lyon and cousins in Cavite. It also suits anyone whose marriage put two passports in the same drawer.
The detail that matters
The script here is heavier than on the American version, brushed rather than looped, which changes the tone of the whole print: less wedding stationery, more luggage tag. The map silhouettes carry no borders, no cities and no flags, so the only colored elements on the shirt are the four hearts and the dotted line.
