I have a TARGET on my back
There is no illustration on this one, and that is the point. Three lines of heavy sans serif capitals sit centered in the upper third of the shirt. I HAVE A comes first in a soft cream white, warm rather than bright. TARGET follows in the middle, set half again as tall and in a hard bright red. ON MY BACK closes underneath, back in the same cream, at the same letter height as the first line but stretched wider than the red word above it, so the block ends on its longest line. Nothing is outlined, nothing is distressed, there is no bullseye graphic and no crosshair. The red word is the only color in the whole design, and it carries the joke on its own.
Who it’s for
The shooter with a dry sense of humor, and the friend buying for him who does not want to hand over a shirt covered in weaponry. A target on my back shirt gets a laugh at the club, a raised eyebrow at work, and stays perfectly wearable in both places.
The detail that matters
The color break. Cream and red on black reads older and warmer than the usual white on black, and it is what stops this from looking like a meme printed on cotton. The cream reads warm and slightly off-white, so the red beside it looks hotter than it actually is. Set at that size, the middle line is readable from further away than most chest prints manage.
