The same carbine, in every color it never comes in

Not one word appears on this print, and it does not need one. The AR 15 sits on a diagonal across the chest, muzzle up and to the right, and every surface of it has been repainted: hot orange across the stock and pistol grip, magenta and pink through the lower receiver, teal, cobalt and violet running the length of the handguard and up the barrel, yellow catching the rail slots and the flash hider. Behind the rifle, a blotted mass of near black, plum and deep midnight blue sits like camo that has been spilled rather than printed, and a ragged white outline cuts the whole block away from the shirt. Small flecks of orange and red scatter off into the background at the edges.

Who it’s for

Shooters who like the machine and do not want to dress like a tactical catalog. It reads as artwork first and hardware second, which is why it goes to the range, to a cookout and to a friend’s kid who just started competing without ever feeling out of place.

The detail that matters

The torn white outline. It is the whole reason this AR 15 pop art shirt holds together on dark cotton: without it the colors would sink into the fabric and the silhouette would go soft. With it, the rifle looks cut out and laid on top, and the stock, the curved magazine and the long barrel still read as an AR 15 from across a parking lot.
