Share My Vibe is a storefront. It sells nothing, takes no payment, ships nothing and holds no customer account. There is no contact form, no newsletter and no analytics tool on this site. Even so, running a website means processing some personal data, and this page explains exactly what and why.

The controller is established in France. That is why this policy follows the European General Data Protection Regulation, even though the shop is written for readers in the United States. Article 3(1) of the GDPR applies wherever the controller is established, whoever the visitors are.
What is collected, and why
Server logs
Like every website, this one runs on a server that records each request: the IP address it came from, the date and time, the page requested, the browser’s user agent string, and the response code. This happens automatically and cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Purpose: keeping the site available, diagnosing errors, and detecting abuse such as brute force attempts.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f). Running a website securely is a legitimate interest, and access logs are the minimum needed for it.
- Retention: logs are kept by the hosting provider for its standard period and are not exported, analyzed or combined with anything else by us.
An IP address counts as personal data under European law, even when it is dynamic. That is settled by the Court of Justice in Breyer, C-582/14, and it is the reason this page exists at all.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie and no tracking pixel. WordPress may set a strictly necessary cookie if you use the search box; it is exempt from consent because the site cannot work without it.
If a measurement tool, an advertising pixel or an affiliate tag is ever added, a consent banner will appear first, refusing will be exactly as easy as accepting, and this page will be updated before anything is set.
What is not collected
No name, no email address, no postal address, no payment detail, no order history. Nothing is asked of you on this site, so nothing is stored about you beyond the logs above.
What happens when you leave for Amazon
Every product page links out to amazon.com. Once you click that button you are on Amazon’s site, under Amazon’s own privacy policy, and this policy no longer applies. We never receive your name, your address, your payment details or your order. We are not told who bought what.

No data is sold, rented or shared with anyone else. There is no advertising network on this site, and no data broker.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. In practice, since the only data held is a server log entry, an access request means asking whether a log line exists for your IP address on a given date.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France that is the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, cnil.fr.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and collects nothing from them. It sells adult apparel through a third party marketplace.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that would newly set a cookie or collect an identifier will be announced before it starts, not after.
